Photo criteria to note

We have been getting many entries since the call for entry went out. A Big Thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort to be part of this project. Please refer to the following photo criteria for further guidelines - we are looking for:

CONTEXT/ SETTING:
Cats in unique situations, home settings & countries, that show their personalities and characteristics - lazy, aloof, loving, graceful, sneaky, timid, streetwise etc

STORY:
Photos with a story to tell, reflecting the flavours of that country, unique situation, home setting - and great 'Personality' in the cats subjects!

QUALITY:
Photos have to be clear and at least 300 dpi to be blown into A4 size quality for exhibiting's purpose. We also accept black & white, sepia or lomo photos.

PAYMENT:
This is an entirely self-financed and non-profit project, thus contributors are required to pay a nominal S$10 per photo for admin costs (decreased from last year since recession, haha). So if you have 3 photos shortlisted, kindly include S$30. Any excess proceeds will be donated to CWS via a cheque donation.

The selection process is determined by the co-organisers and entry decisions made are final.

The organiser is also entitled to sell the cat photos and use the cat images to make into magnets to raise funds for the Cat Welfare Society.
